About San Zuala 

San Zuala is honored to serve as the Correspondence Secretary for the South Carolina Student Nurses’ Association. She is passionate about nursing, leadership, and building meaningful connections within the nursing community.

Coming from a rural community in South Carolina, she values accessible, compassionate healthcare and hopes to make a positive impact in rural areas throughout her nursing career. San Zualas nursing school journey has strengthened her resilience, compassion, and commitment to lifelong learning.

Outside of nursing, she enjoys spending time with ehr family, friends, and dog. She is a homebody who loves old films and appreciates life’s simple moments.

As Correspondence Secretary, San Zuala looks forward to keeping SCSNA members informed, connected, and engaged while supporting the organization’s mission.

Correspondent Secretary responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the SNA-SC president to support their communication needs and initiatives.

•  Ensure timely and efficient communication between members and external entities.
