About Maddison
Maddison Luss, is currently pursuing her BSN at the University of South Carolina. After graduation, she plans to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) to advance clinical practice and advocate for patients across their lifespan. She is passionate about women’s health and pediatrics, and hopes to use these interests to promote wellness for individuals, families, and communities. In addition to her involvement with SNA-SC, she serves as the secretary of the Residence Hall Association, where she prioritizes transparent communication and making sure every student’s voice is heard. Outside of academics and leadership roles, she enjoys running and reading, which helps her stay grounded, balanced, and ready to support the future of nursing in South Carolina.
NEC Director Responsibilities:
Responsible for encouraging candidates to run for positions
Raises awareness for the Annual State Convention by traveling to schools across South Carolina to present to nursing students
Updates the SNA-SC Executive Board Candidate Packet annually
Presents pre-slated and newly slated candidates for the executive board positions during convention
Attends all events held by the state and attends local chapter events when invited
