Ethics & Governance

Caroline Waxman

About the Ethics & Governance Director

My name is Caroline Waxman, and I am a junior in the BSN program at the University of South Carolina, Columbia. I am from Northern Virginia, about 30 minutes outside Washington D.C. After I graduate in 2023, I plan to get some nursing experience under my belt (possibly by traveling) before applying to graduate school to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice. My specialty of interest changes every day, but right now I can see myself working in the cardiovascular ICU/CCU or as a labor and delivery nurse. In my free time I love to work out, hang out with friends, and just relax, as nursing school can be very stressful at times. I am so excited to be a part of SNA-SC’s executive board! I have been looking for opportunities to get involved on a bigger scale as well as build relationships with other nursing students and faculty. I am excited to work with others who have similar interests and are as excited about nursing as I am!
